My OB appt today

My weight gain is good, I was getting alittle concerned since I have only gained 7 pounds, but he said I am right on.
I talked to him a little about my ultrasound and got him to change my U/S time form 28 weeks to next tuesday. (I'm so lucky my Dr. is a pushover! ) so I won't have to wait anymore.
DH is concerned that we won't be able to find out gender now since it is so early, and now he has me freaking out about it too, even though I know we will be able to see it by 21 weeks, everyone else has been able to! Unfortunately, it doesn't take much to give me anxiety, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

Kaitlin'smom replied: I am glad you get the U/S next week, how excting. My sister had one at 18 weeks and found out the gender. You should see it at 21 weeks no problem, unless the baby is shy and wont let you.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Sounds like a good appointment! I'm glad you don't have to wait until 28 weeks for your u/s. You shouldn't have any problems at all seeing the gender at 21 weeks. I can't believe you're 20 weeks already it seems like you just told us you were pg!

This one is going WAY faster than the last time! I delivered The Boy at 36 weeks, its hard to imagine that I am already 1/2 way there!

PrairieMom replied: yeah, i'm lucky he is such a pushover. he had decent reasons why to wait unil 28 weeks, but was also open to my reasoning. DH said he was so proud to see me be agressive with someone other than him! he was shocked. I am normally to shy to order pizza over the phone!

I mistakenly told EVERY one it was tuesday instead of thursday. I have a lot of impatient friends and family!
I will know in less than 24 hours!

CAMSMOM1 replied: I can't wait 24 hours! I thought you were going to find out today! I swear I feel like I'm going to find out, like its my baby! I just am sooooo excited for you!

I found out Cameron's sex at 20 weeks. We also had an ultrasound at 15 weeks, and you could see it really clear then, but he wanted to double check at 20 weeks to tell me for sure. Most people find out around 20-22 weeks.

Hopefully your baby will be spread eagle!
