mummy2girls wrote: For the last 2 days i have been doing no housework whats so ever!!! there is dishes everywhere, clothes piling, toys everywhere, bedrooms messy, and bathroom grody! I hope i get the energy to clean everything:(

A&A'smommy replied: ugh i hate that feeling!!! Its so hard keeping up with housework when you have a baby!!!! Dont feel to bad do one thing at a time even if its just washing one dish (lol)!!

mckayleesmom replied: I find that I have to make myself get motivated....I turn the tv off and step away from the computer and put some music on...it also helps if Mckaylee is napping.

aspenblue1 replied: I feel that way from time to time. Maybe start with something small.

jem0622 replied: You should look at www.flylady.net. She is great b/c you can get daily emails and every week you work on a zone. So every week you focus on that zone and nothing else. Makes it all a lot less daunting. I was sick (and still am) and had no energy over the weekend. And it was hard b/c DH wasn't around to help (he works a graveyard shift). So I stayed home Monday and we did tag team cleaning. It didn't resolve all of the cleaning problems, but it made a dent in the most important parts.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Yep I know how you feel my house is a mess to me, really probably not that bad. I worked on some of the didshes this morning and hope to get them done tonight, I did get her room mostly done so that was a start, My room bug me the most its horrible and now I have stuffed my closet with christmas presents! I can't even find some of my shoes! I need to get wrapping so I can clean the closet and them maybe I can clean my bathroom and then the bed room....Oh so much to do and not enough time. Ops sorry for rambling there just work on one thing at a time....soon things will look better!

DansMom replied: Yeah, I ordered some Discovery toys at a party, and the hostess wants to know when she can drop them off. I'm panicking because I don't want her to see my house the way it is now!!! I'm going to offer to pick them up (let her panic instead! LOL). It's impossible to have a clean house when you work full time and have a toddler. Just don't expect too much of yourself. Do small projects, the "zone" idea, and try to feel happy with getting one little area clean.

jen replied: I usually just clean a corner and then just sit in that corner and pout until I get motivated! It helps if I can at least see the TV! ha ha! Good luck with your cleaning I know how you feel! wavey.gif

kimberley replied: blah... i am the same way! between winter blues, baby blues and exhaustion, housework often gets put on the backburner. it is hard when you are in a small space too cuz everything looks messy so much faster. just take it one thing at a time wacko.gif

mummy2girls replied: I finally got the apartment clean!!!!!!!!!!!I just had to start to keep going!

kimberley replied: YAY! banana.gif glad you got it all done thumb.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: wanna come help me finish cleaning? LOL

MommyToAshley replied: YAY! thumb.gif WTG!!

DH got on a cleaning kick yesterday and was cleaning for 4 hours... dusting, vacuuming, putting away some stuff that needed be packed away, cleaned out the office, he even mopped the kitchen floor. Ashley and I disappeared and let him go at it! smile.gif All I had to do was the bathrooms. I love it when he gets in those moods. I just wish he got in those moods every day (or at least once a week) hehee rolling_smile.gif
