My attempt at making a butterfly cake

There is a run in one place and it's not perfect but Kylie loved it and after much thought what she thinks is more important than me spending $30+ on a cake. So I guess I'll make her cake for her party. Just hope I do an ok job that day.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone.  Kylie can't stop talking about her butterfly cake so I definitely am going to make my own for her party. I need to make two so I asked her what colors she wanted on each one and she just got even more exciting.
My mom actually made ALL my cakes as a kid for birthday parties so I guess it's only right I do it too (not every year though, lol).

LOL. I have this feeling that her cake isn't going to turn out as nice on her birthday but I'll try. At least I have a pic to show that I was able to do one. I told my mom yesterday and she about fell on the floor because she knows I don't cook or bake, but she was even floored that I tried to decorate one.
