My aunt has cancer....

mummy2girls wrote: My mom told me today that my aunt has stage 3 breast cancer. She lost all her hair due to chemo treatments. She is my favourite aunt...She is 50 years old. My aunts dad recently died of cancer and her mom is fighting lung cancer....ARGHHH. She hasnt met Jenna yet so im hopeing she will be able to see her in case this disease does get worse. Ill be seeing her at my brothers wedding come july....If she isnt too sick at that time.

Treatments are advancing all of the time, and I do hope that things get better for your aunt. We will keep her and you in our prayers. Please keep us posted, and feel free to vent any time!!

Recently a coworker was diagnosed with breast cancer and she had to have a mastectomy and she is going through chemo treatments. I have been doing a lot of research since my coworker was diagnoses and the survival rate is great.

My friend (coworker) is having some trouble with chemo (getting sick) but we all keep praying for a speedy recovery.


Something I found interesting in my research is that most breast cancer is estrogen driven and has increased 26% in the last 10 years. Makes you wonder about hormone replacement after hysterectomy and other times you put estrogen in your body like the birth controll pill?

They are also trying to link it to the hormones they feed cattle to plump them up for sale. I have really been trying to eat healthier.
