My birth story

At around 4 am I woke up to use the restroom and it was a little pinkish and there was a tiny little bit of mucus and I was in a lot more pain. DH again starting timeing the contraction, and uh oh they were 2 minutes apart! So DH called my OB and we headed for the hospital. We got there about 4:45 am and when we got there they checked me and I was 10 CM already and my bag of water was about to burst! They got me into a delivery room and my water broke. DH called everyone to let them know I was ready NOW! Know one else got there in time not even my OB and Braedin made his debut at 5:24 am. They had to cut me but I still tore almost all the way to my bum. I had no drugs at all and they had barly gotten my IV started when he was born. In all honestly it was BAD but it wasn't as bad as I had been telling myself it would be, but it did hurt like you know what (still does ). But I count myself lucky that I had a fairly fast and easy labor and delivery. DH past out!

cameragirl21 replied: TFS, Ally, I love labor and delivery stories! Sounds like your L and D was short and sweet, lol, you barely got to the hospital in time. That's amazing for a first labor, they can last more than 24 hours!
That tearing does sound terrible though, ouch! Hopefully it will heal quickly.

CantWait replied: Holy that was quick. Glad it went well except for the tear. It should heal fairly fast though, and if it bugs you, warm water feels great.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I am glad it was fast. The tearing is hard..but that comes with Fast sometimes.

BTW.. My DH passed out too. I was kinda mad at him..were you?
