It was her first play. She just played one of the "kidlings" she got to perform in two of the songs they sang and did a little dancing. She liked it and told the director when asked she would help next year. I was so proud of her. You would never believe this is the same girl we held out of kindergarten becasue she was so shy!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: Too cute!! We took O to see that musical and she loved it!

Are you connected to the school system in some way? Ours only recruits among the school staff for kid parts.

No not connected. One of the girls in the play babysits for us sometimes ( rarely we hardly ever go out..lol) and she asked if Brit would be interested because they needed kids.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Good for her!!! I did a lot of musicals in HS and loved having the little ones there to play with! I bet it's sooooooooo fun and rewarding for your DD!

Yes, she was there, even showed Brit some of the dance steps she liked from the show. She waited in lobby for a few min but we never went out to the lobby because the kids came out from backstage into the auditorum. so all was well.
