My friends house burnt to the ground yesterday - She has 4 small children

SHe is 25 for 4 small kids..she started young,,,8,6,5 and 2

3 boys and a little girl..they were home and burnt to the ground. They all got out. But she was in shock..lost everything they had. Pictures everything.

She had already bought all new school clothes b/c the boys were all going to school this year..supplies and all. She had just gotten her last layaway off..and lost it all..

I cried and creid w/ her..

mammag replied: Oh that is so sad! Does she have insurance to cover everything? It's the pictures that would be the worst to me.

TANNER'S MOM replied: No insurance..

They only had an old trailer house they had remodeled....someone gave them the trailer and they had tried to make it nice..

Added bedrooms and paint and all..

Here trailers are everywhere...But I hate that for her..

mommy_loves_chase replied: that really stinks i know what she is going thru my house burned down last Nov did she talk to the red cross they will give her money for clothes and that kinda stuff i really fell bad for her though!! how did the fire start if you dont mind me asking?

My2Beauties replied: OMg Mel that is awful - is there anything we can do? I feel so sorry for her I could never imagine losing everything I owned in a fire - I am so thankful they are ok though! That poor girl! My prayers are with her, let us know if we can do anything at all!

SHe was crying to hard yesterday and not for coherent (sp??)

msoulz replied: I don't know how she would feel about this, but sometimes a call to the local news helps. I live near Detroit and every now and again they will feature a family in need, and the help just comes pouring out, especially when children are involved. She certainly sounds like someone who could use that type of assistance, but may not want the publicity/charity. I can understand that, too. I just hope she and her children will be OK.

Her daughter is a size 2t

and her boys are size 5-8......

Just last week I cleaned out Tanners closet and took her the clothes...

They will be in my thoughts. And I will try and see if I have any clothes to fit her little girl. I'm not sure if I have any left or not, but if I do find any I will PM you so I can get them sent to her.

The Red Cross rented them a motel room for a week.. until they can get something lined out..

They are now going thru stuff and trying to do a clean up.. Its very sad
