My mum got robbed! - What a rotten week!!!!!

As if my week couldnt get any worse....My mum got robbed out of R1500!! In rands its a LOT of money!!!

Heres what happened..I'll make it short.
My mum made an advertisement for car parts for her car which are hard to find.She needed lights and a door after the accident she was in almost 2 weeks ago.Anyway, a guy called her up and all seemed well.He had the car parts.My mum even had someone in the other city where this guy lives check out the place and the car parts were there.

So he gave his banking details for the money to be deposited and lets just say the guy never showed up since Tuesday!!! We have tried calling him and he doesnt reply! We called the place where my mum sent the deposit slip to and a guy that works there said it is still at the phone shop!!!! So this thief gives his anking details and this man's fax number to innocent victims lloking for car parts and robs them!

My parents where mad as hell and they have opened a case against this guy and more people are coming out who say theyve also been robbed this way!!! We are so gonna catch the bastards!!!

They have no idea how stealing affects others! Im so hurt and angry at all this cos my family is sitting with hospital bills for my little brother which are sky high and then these jerks still do this!! The police have some more leads to them and it turns out that its a husband and wife running this crook business!!!!

Im so sorry to lay all this on you...just dont know who else to talk to!!!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Oh that's really shotty. Have the funds been withdrawn from you mom's account? Can she call the bank and tell them it was robbery? explain the situation? Can she put a "stop" on the slip? Can she withdraw more funds so that the slip won't go through?

My mum spoke to the detectives today and she contacted her bank.

The bank said that the police have the authority to have the account frozen but we not sure yet if that jerk has withdrawn the money but the cops are on the case.The bank knows about the whole situation and they are really helpful...also gave out some info they werent allowed to.

So Im sure we'll get those crooks!!! They wont get away with it that easily!!!!
