My neighbor - around the corner :-(

We said hi to him and he said please forgive me I reconise you but I forget your name well that made me sad bc he use to be sharp as a whip so I told him who we were and talked for like 35 min or more then he started talking about his wife that passed on like 4 years ago maybe longer how she use to pack his lunch with 2 lunch boxes one with the food and the other with treats and made him breakfest
He started to cry and said how much he missed her and couldnt wait to see her again OMG I started crying too bc his wife was the most wonderful person you could ever meet. I so wasnt ready for that he is so sad

holley79 replied: That just made me cry reading that. Bless his heart. It's so hard to lose a spouse after that legnth of time. OUr neighbor across the street just lost her husband of 48 years. It just breaks my heart.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: That's so sad!!! We had a neighbor like that, too. He took me in his house one day and showed me pictures of his wife (when she was like 30). It was so touching and sad at the same time.
