My sister needs a Prayer.....

She called my mom, who was out of town but had my brother (who was nearby) fill her car up with gas, and she made it home. She is very upset with her life. Maybe this is a wakening. Maybe she will realize she needs a job, needs to be responsible, that there are people that are hurt by her throwing her life away to drugs, and there are other people out there that want to use her and manipulate her. My mom, and all of her friends and I are going to her apartment saturday morning to clean up for with her and have a drug intervention. I hope it works. We have some leads on jobs for her and my mom is going to hire her for a short time with her company to get her back on her feet. I hope we are doing the right thing, I think the more people she sees trying to help her the better. She always has someone to blame for all her misfortunes in life and the way her life is going, I hope she can realize that she needs to make some decisions for herself and HER future. Please say a prayer for Julie, that this may be a new start on a better life for her.

And, BTW, I am having MAJOR money trouble myself. No substance abuse here, just flat out bad luck. We'll probably have to file bankruptcy this year. Not a good 2004 for me.

I am sorry to hear about your $$ trouble. That is awful... Things will look up for you. I don't know your situation but you always give great advice!!! So I know things can't be stacked against you too badly!

I know and understand what you are going through as I have been there with my brothers. I wish you all the luck. It does sound as though she is ready. You all are in my prayers. This will be hard for your mom and dad b/c they really need to be tough with her. ((((HUGS))))
