My trip - Niagara Falls
Kaitlin'smom wrote: We really had a great time with just the two of us. So going into Canada they just asked where were from and where we were going....no biggie. So we go in Thursday night and after checking into our hotel we headed out to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner, it was nice, and since we both have a pin collection from there it made it worth while. After dinner we walked around a bit (I did not have walking shoes on then) We were headed back to the car and wondered how far away the falls were, well we just figure we would see in the day before night anyway.
Friday we got up about 8a and headed out to breakfast and then to Clifon Hills, same are we were the night before (very touristy but hay it was fun and not to crowed on Friday) As we approached the same parking grage we were the night before what do we see? The American Falls......like duh we were that close the night before and had no clue. Oh well nothing loset, so we saw bunch of things did so attractions and Miad of the Mist (hehehehe how fun!) well on our way back the the Clifton area we stopped in the park to look at our info on different place and I suggested making reservations at a resturant overlooking the falls, so DH called and they had a 5p and 9:15p, okay so I usually dont eat that last but I did not want to eat so early so we opted for the late dinner. So after a few more things we headedback to the room so we could get ready for dinner, we had plenty of time so it was a soak in our heart shaped Jacussi with bubbles, champagne and a bit of chocolate, course I brought candles and rose pettles very romantic.
Then it was off to dinner and while we were early they let us up to the observation leval (normaly a charge but since we had dinner reservations it was free) It was SO beautiful seeing the falls at night all lit up, we tried to get some pics but they did not turn out so well. Dinner was wonderful we had a great view of both falls, it was a classy place, we even ordered champagne with dinner something we have NEVER done but since it was a very special occasion we splurged, and in fact while we ordered a bottle they mistakenly gave us a more expensive bottle of French import, it was so good.
So after our wonderful dinner we decided to walk over to the casino to relax and chill a bit, so we played a bit of slots and I we over to the bar to listen to the band, well I also ordered a drink, Dh then joined me and I had 3 drinks and then the bartender cut me off, I was not mad at all actually very thankful for him to watch out for his costomers So Dh decided it was time to get me back to the room and to bed, he asked the bellhop to watch me and he went to get the car. He was only gone about 10 minutes and back tot he room we went, so yes I was quite drunk something I have not done in many many years. It was a great 10th annivesary
Of course we slept in saturday, and I only felt a bit queasy after all that but not much of a hang over at all (I was suprised) Well we went back and did a few more things at the falls, they are so beautiful. By saturday night I was really missing my daughter so I was kinda sad at dinner and did not sleep well. So now we are back things are great and now its time to get back to our day to day lives.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I was just about perfect, DH was tring for one other thing that just never worked out, he wanted to re-new our wedding vows but the very few little chaples we saw always seemed to be closed when we going by them on Friday.....and of course they were open Saturday oh well just not the right place for that.
