MySpace friends

I have had several in the past month or so. I will get a request in my e-mail, then go to my homepage for MS and there are no requests to be found. I double check my email and the request is still there, but the links will not work. Or one second I have a request in my folder the next second... nada. The request is not there any longer.

I e-mailed the tech support and I got a generic reply of "this issue is being resolved- please be patient". I am patient, and it is not a big deal whatsoever, I just want to know if others have had similiar probs.

Calimama replied: I had some show up in my email, I log in and find nothing. DH said those are fake ways to get my password. As for REAL friend requests, I haven't had any problems. It seems as though something is always needing to be "resolved".

Boo&BugsMom replied: Not in that department, but I have seen some weird bulletins by people on my friend's list and know they didn't post them themselves. Like some spammer is hacking into their account and posting them. One was from my 14 year old cousin about vacationing in Hawaii and Alaska and promoting a credit card, and I know she didn't post them. Kind of weird.

amynicole21 replied: I get tons of those *fake* friend requests. Sometimes I get real friend requests, then go to check them and get the message that the account has been deleted. It's all a bunch of spam.

I still love FoxNews, who is the parent company of myspace, I thought it was something wrong with thier end- not scammers trying to do what they try to do best and dupe people.

CantWait replied: I won't get e-mail notifications, but it will say on the main page that I have friend requests/new message/etc.....and when I check, nadda.
