Names, names, names..we can't pick names
Nina J wrote: LOL, say it in a sing-song voice. I thought it in a sing-song voice when I wrote it.
Anyway, if you'd give me your honest opinion, and I mean very honest opinion, about these names I'd appreciate it. I won't care if you say its the worst name in the whole entire world
Boys: Ciaran (Curr-in) Harper Jake
Girls: Addison Autumn
DH and I pick a name and then we remember other names on our list and say "Oh, I like Autumn" "What about Jake?" "Addison's to popular, I don't know if we should use it"
ETA: Keyte (Kite) will be the middle name for a boy, and Helena for a girl (Ha-lena, not Helen-a)
skinkybaby replied: I like Jake and Addison. I'm not a fan of Ciaran, just because he'll spend his entire life correcting people.
cameragirl21 replied: love the name Jake, don't care for Ciaran for the same reasons skinkybaby mentioned. Prefer Autumn to Addison, just don't care for Addison, Autumn is more interesting.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Jake & Addison
Here is my honest opinon since you asked.... until I read the pronunciation in parenthesis of some of the names listed I would have been pronoucing them wrong. Such as Helena, Ciaran, Keyte. Those are all nice names, but expect to have many frustrating moments from people who pronouce it wrong.
Nina J replied: Thats my major problem with Ciaran, I love the name but I know it's annoying when people constantly mis-pronounce one of your names (Keyte is my surname, I didn't take DH's name). If it's a middle name it's not that bad. But, DH and I have been talking about pronounciation if we have a boy and name him Ciaran. The middle name for a girl wouldn't be to bad, and I think most people know how to pronounce Addison or Autumn, so there's no problems there. But a life time of correcting people would get annoying
CantWait replied: I like those names also out of the ones provided.
kimberley replied: i guess i am the oddball cuz i like Ciaran. i know 3 boys called Ciaran (tho spelt with a K) and they never had problems. i am partial to Jake too
i am not keen on either girl name. Addison just doesn't seem soft enough for a girl and Autumn reminds me of a dancer's name lol. sorry, you asked for honest.
lisar replied: I like Harper and Autum.
BAC'sMom replied: I like Jake & Addison
mummy2girls replied: I love Autumn! I was going to name jenna that but because my sisters daughter is called Summer i thought that would be tacky!
holley79 replied: Those are tough tough choices. I have no clue.
Ellie replied: Ciaran (Curr-in): I do not like it at all. Sounds like a spice and hard to pronounce and spell. Harper: I think of To Kill a Mockingbird and I know a woman wrote it. So to me, it's girly. Jake: I like it. Very traditional and all that stuff.
Girls: Addison: pretty Autumn: dancer like someone said above
kimberley replied: i have always understood it to be pronounced.. k-year-an
moped replied: Ummmm, not sure - and you asked to be honest so i don't like how it is hard to pronounce them. I don't care for Jake, but I like Jack .........sorry
Addison cute
Autumn - don't care for
Our Lil' Family replied: Ciaran I don't like at all, just because it's spelled completely different than it's pronounced and it also reminds me of Curry.
I do like Harper and I think out of that and Jake it goes better with Kyete.
I love Addison and I like Autumn.
Cece00 replied: The boys & girls names are NMS, but I agree about the C boy name, how he will probably always be correcting ppl on how to pronounce his name. I wouldnt have guessed the correct pronunciation of it for the life of me. I also think its very off from your girls names.
JadensMama05 replied: Autumn and Jake. I considered Jake for Jaden
MotherForever2043 replied: I agree!!
