Need Suggestions!
Boo&BugsMom wrote: Sunday is my b-day, so we are going out Saturday for my b-day, just Troy and I. First we are going out to eat at a nice restaurant. After that...well, we have no clue. It may be a good idea just to rent a movie and take it home because that whole day is super busy.
8am...I have band rehearsal at church (I sing) After that I have a worship arts committee meeting at church 10:30...Tanner has Awana Games until about 3ish (they compete with other churches around the area) Then we have to get ready, drop off the kids...who will be at my parents house OVERNIGHT by the way!!! , then go out to eat.
I think I may be really pooped out by the end of the night. But, if I'm not...I'd like suggestions. We are just at a lose at what to do. It's been a LONG time since we've been out just the two of us. Suggestions? And no minds in the gutter either.
Anthony275 replied: maybe you should go see a movie? it would be worth it if you havent gone to one with you and him alone in awhile
Calimama replied: Dancing? It would be fun to take a dance class together! Or you could GO to the movie so it still feels like you're out and celebrating. Maybe there's a show (dance, musical, theater) around you playing?
kimberley replied: cocktails and a upscale bar maybe? just stay for one if ur tired.
happy early birthday
TrulyBlessed replied: I'm at a loss for ideas. I can't even remember the last time my husband and I did something together...... I do like the movie idea, though.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Darn!
I think dinner and a movie sounds perfect! It's your birthday, what sort of things do you like to do? Is there a comedy club? A place with live music?
How old are you going to be?
boyohboyohboy replied: go out to eat, and then go bowling or something like that. dont go to a movie, you cant talk there..we are like you, we never go out...so you want to take advantage of it! dont go home and watch a movie, go out! even if you are tired, you will be so glad you did, and that energy will come from somewhere. i know not to long ago, we actually went to a roller rink, now its been years since i skated, but it was fun!
make sure you post what you decided to do!
happy birthday by the way!
lovemy2 replied: Ummm can you move this to P&I - I am sure Troy would respect the answers given there way more than the ones we give here

msoulz replied: I say go to Victoria' Secret, buy him something pretty, go home and see what happens.
Was that what you define as "mind in the gutter"??
Boo&BugsMom replied:
You have him pegged Christine don't you?
Aimee...I'll be "*cough31cough*.
There actually is a comedy club near by (we both like comedy), but where the restaurant is we wouldn't make it in time to the show, unless we go to the 10pm one. Did I mention I have to be at church by 8am the next morning for sound check? Ok, I know...excuses excuses. We do like comedy clubs though. I'll have to see what other kinds of comedy places are around here.
A place with live music sounds fun, or an upscale bar too.
I love to dance, but lately I've been doing a lot of choreography/dancing for church stuff in the last couple weeks so I'm kind of tired of dancing right now.
It has been a year since we have been to the theatre, and even at that time it was more years prior to that. A movie would be nice, but I do think it would also be nice to sit somewhere and talk, have a couple drinks.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I wonder if he'd be up for a coffee house? There is one downtown that plays live music on Saturday nights a lot. Honey?
Boo&BugsMom replied: YES!
Wait...you said buy HIM something pretty...does that mean he'd have to wear it???
TheOaf66 replied: I like the bar idea but as Brandon would say
"whatever"
msoulz replied: YES!! I think they should primp for us sometimes too!!
sparkys2boys replied: Oh gosh.. take pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have fun with whatever you decide to do!
