Need help finding a safety lock.

MommyToAshley replied: Can you gate off your kitchen? That's what I do. I don't let Ashley in the kitchen unless I am in there with her. Even baby-proofed as can be, there are too many things she can get hurt on.

I wish I could but the way my apartment is done there is way to big of an opening to the kitchen from the diningroom.

nope...it is a really old brand. If i dont find anything im going to have to keep an extra close watch on her if im cooking something in there.

3_call_me_mama replied: We got a safety first one from babies r us.. they have a whole babyproofing section, even a few complete kitchen kits.. cause the fridge will be next on her list I'm sure!!

ediep replied: I tried to keep the cleaning lock on, but it won't open while you are cooking and it took Jason a few minutes to figure out how to unlock it! I have to get a safety latch too!

ediep replied: I just got one at babies r us and it was only about $3. Jason noticed it on the oven and he touched it, but then he left it alone. Hopefully, it will work!!
