Need ideas for almost 2 year old

coasterqueen wrote: Ok, I'm stumped on what else to get Megan for Christmas. I want to get her one more toy.

As of now she's getting (from us or Santa) a Cabbage Patch newborn doll, Elmo purse set, Little Tikes Vacuum and the FP Laugh and Learn home.

So what are you getting your almost 2 year old? Got any ideas?

Our Lil' Family replied: What about the Little People doll house? I got Thomas the Barn.

Or what about leap pad and books to go with it? Thomas is REALLY into books right now.

sunrosejenn replied: how about books, dress up clothes, fabric tea set, blocks, bean bags

CantWait replied: Little grocery cart and groceries, cash register.

Maddy'sMommy replied: I got Maddy... lots of books, some flash cards, a leap frog train, baby and stroller, some cars, a magnetic doodle thing, a big girl bed

my mom got her a kitchen and a car to drive around their property. Hope that helps.

jem0622 replied: My sweeties got the Laugh and Learn House last year. Big hit here! This year, they are getting trikes, an activity table, and an easel.

Jamison'smama replied: We are trying to get rid our our learning home. Jack is not a big fan anymore. He seems to play with toys that I wouldn't really have expected him to yet. We are getting him the Shake n Go cars, the Diego Rescue Center and a Video Now Jr. I agree with the shopping cart, Jama was a big fan. Something that has lasted for a long time with Jamison and now Jack is a fan is the Loving Family doll house. Jamison had the Little people one and she loved it--the sounds are great but what makes the Loving Family nice is that you can buy pieces as you go and they are quite reasonable.

moped replied: I like Marie's idea...and the shake n go is WICKED - even for girls I think!!!!!

quinnandjacob'smom replied: We got Jacob a shopping cart and groceries, books, some pull toys, an Aquadoodle, and some "boy" things like a Little Tikes tool bench.

boyohboyohboy replied: I always like the kitchen sets and the shopping carts for kids with the food ideas. it might help her too, if she thought about cooking and shopping and eating...it might help her think she is making food and make her want to eat it..?

BAC'sMom replied: Baby w/ stroller, Dress up clothes, Books

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone. By the looks of the suggestions I can see Megan doesn't need another toy. She has all those things. blush.gif blush.gif Mainly because she has an older sister who had all that stuff.

I think I'm going to get her a very cheapy cheapy (don't care what the picture quality is) digital camera so she will stop screaming and wanting her sisters. tongue.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Yeah, that would be great, wouldn't it? Of course she has chewed up all her play food, but it's not helping her in the real food department. rolleyes.gif

Jamison'smama replied: Pop up tent? Tunnels? Thar cool rainbow bear thar turns all those great colors in the dark and has a 15 minute timer?
