Kaitlin'smom wrote: Okay I bougt a 5x7 frame to put my parents picture (yep an amazing thng that actualy got them taken) well anhoo It has stickers on the front for price and clearence, I got most of them off but what can I use that I would most likely have around the house to get the rest off? help.gif

jdkjd replied: Soak in fingernail polish remover or warm water and they should scrape off...

HTH!

Kaitlin'smom replied: hehe that reminds me I need fingernail polish remover! I dont hav any left, dunno what happen to it I have not used any in months! But thanks I will give that a try. smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied: I think maybe soaking it in dishwashing liquid and really hot water will work too.

amynicole21 replied: Are the stickers on the frame or the glass? What material is the frame? If wood, don't soak it or it will be ruined. If metal, soaking is ok. Happen to have any lighter fluid in the house? That works if you put it on a paper towel and scrub. You can also buy some stuff like Goof Off and Goo Gone at the hardware store. Probably would be more than you paid for the frame on clearance, though!!

supermom replied: If they are on the glass, if your DH is a little "toolman" (teehee) WD-40 works well to remove sticky residue. Then you have to wash the WD-40 with Windex or something, cuz it's a bit greasy, but it works great

MommyToAshley replied: I always use dishsoap (full strength) and a washcloth on that sticky stuff and it always works. Then rinse with water.

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh sorry the stickers are on the glass........

thanks for the ideas I will try some tonight I really want to get the pic framed and on the mantel. Its such an nice pic of them. They ae such sneaks! They did not tell us they were having it done! They also got it done after dad cut his hair off 18 inches (dontation to lock of loves) and before my mom wacked hers off!

paradisemommy replied: can also try rubbing alcohol..you may have that around the house smile.gif that's what i always use. hth

Kaitlin'smom replied: thanks for all the tips! Istarted with dishwashing liquid full strength and a little scrubbie thing and that took it off wth warm/hot water. then I cleand it with glass cleaner. Looks good! Pic is in and up on the mantel!

MommyToAshley replied: horray.gif horray.gif Yeah! Glad you were able to get the goo off and the picture up. Can't wait to see it. smile.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
