You'll go crazy if you try to keep everyone happy! So concentrate on you, your husband and-- oh, by the way-- your daughter. If you have the party 1 1/2 hours away, how many of her friends/ familiar faces will be there??

coasterqueen replied: Well I feel even better now, lol. I took Amy's advice (sort of, lol). I emailed her asking her about something else and mentioned I heard they were going to BIL's parent's house.

At the end of my email I replied "Don't you love last minute decisions? ;-) Mt. Vernon not must be as far as Springfield is from St. Louis, ey? I remember you saying you didn't think Pat would want to travel to Springfield when I had asked about having Kylie's bday party on Sunday."

Hope that gets her GOAT!

Good for you for sticking up for yourself (and Kylie)! I hope she realizes that what she did was rude and selfish and thinks twice next time. hmm, I wonder if she will apologize?
