A&A'smommy replied: First of all CONGRATULATIONS and Welcome!! Oh you could feel anything but really it is early so you probably wont feel much I reccamend you get "what to expect when your expecting" It tells you EVERYTHING about pregnancy and what isn't in there you should just ask your doc about. Happy and healthy 9 months!!

angelhair replied: I did not have any smtoms until about six weeks, then morning sickness stated and lasted till approxiametrly 5 months. very tired, but did not get the sore boobs nor have they gotten that big and am already 8 months slong. remember you cannot go by smptoms because some women will have them and some will not so it is important not to compare. congrats the women here are great! welcome love dee

barbperi21 replied: Thanks so much for all of your advice. I really appreciate it. I will head to the store and get the book-- I feel great and just hope everything is ok. Thanks again for the advice and for welcoming me to the board!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Hi and Congratulations!! wavey.gif The only symptoms I had that early were being tired and emotional ~ the morning sickness didn't come until a little later. If you're really concerned you can talk to your doctor at your appointment on tuesday. I'm sure that she will tell you everything is fine! thumb.gif
Happy and Healthy 9 months!! baby.gif baby.gif

~KARA~ replied: wavey.gif and congrats!!

Feeling fine could be a good thing. I was fine with my dd's and this time with my ds due 8-19-05 I feel like crap most of the time. This has been the most miserable pregnancy for me!!

Let us know how the dr appt goes!!

Celestrina replied: Welcome! wavey.gif There are so many possible symptoms and every preg is different. My boobs were so sore and swollen it hurt to wear a bra, yet if I went without it could hurt from no support. Here is a book that I found to be a lifesaver: Mayo clinic Book on Pregnancy and the First Year. It is very thick, but it takes you step-by-step thru your pregnancy and the first year of your little one's life. This book is a must have. It covers so much its amazing.

Ashley's Mommy replied:
I got this book the other day in the mail. I ordered it from State Farms web-site, It was Free!! biggrin.gif
I'll try to find the link to the site, if they are even still offering it.

Lynda836 replied: I'm pregnant for the first time as well. When I told friend and family, so many people we're asking about if I had this or that symptom yet. For the longest time (it seemed) the only thing that said I was pregnant was the pregnacy test. I didn't feel pregnant and I was comparing myself to other people and because I wasn't having the same experience as they did...symptoms at certain time...I was worried.

Not "knowing" what was going on in my body, not being able to know everything was fine, was a bit unsettling. I actually didn't start to relax until I started to feel the baby kick.

Try not to worry and try not to compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone is different and every pregnacy is different is well. Everything will be fine. Soon you'll be yearning for the days when strong smells don't make you gag, and will changing to pants with elastic waistbands. I must say...it's such a nice feeling knowing that I don't have to (and can't even try) to suck my gut in anymore smile.gif Congrats on your pregnancy!!

Soon2b_mom replied: I am also pregnant for the first time....I didn't know what to expect at first either... My baby was concieved on Dec 26, 2004.. Well in january I had a really light period. It last about 3 days...Well I kept on doing my normal activites not knowing I was pregnant..In feb.. I also had a period but it lasted only one day....I was thinking something was wrong with me...I wasn;t thinking I was pregnant because in eary Jan I took a pregnancy test ( one from Dollar Tree) it said I wasn't pregnant. Well I decided to buy another one..>One from Wal-Mart..It come back positive...I went to the healthunit and they told me I was 5 weeks pregnant. They said since I did have a period in Jan. It would count...At 7 weeks I went for and ultrasound. My baby was huge...I was 12 weeks pregnant not 7b like i thought....SO most of my first trimester I didn't know I was pregnant...I only got sick one morning. but my titties were sore the whole time.
