New Year's Resolutions - is it time already?
TANNER'S MOM wrote: Well I have to loose weight. My clothes are tight and not attractive looking. I refuse to buy more.. I will loose this holiday weight.. I will loose it. Come heck or high water.. it's gone.
And I am going to not drink so much.. Which is probably the reason I have been gaining weight..lol
Bye bye my fat butt and bud light..lol
I am gonna miss you both!
lisar replied: Mine is to quit smooking this year. Like it will happen though.
TheOaf66 replied: hmmm, couldn't get myself to let go of Bud Light, that is my contribution to nutrition, light beer
coasterqueen replied: Well I get $1,000 of my bonus to go spend on clothing whenever I want, but I told DH I would rather wait til I loose this last 16 pounds SO of course losing this weight is my goal for 2007. I'd LOVE LOVE to lose it before Megan's birthday, March 16, but I don't think that's going to happen.
My other goal is to try to be more patient and understanding to my children, reminding myself they are only 4 and 21 months, and not to expect the world out of them.
My other goal is to try to be more understanding with Dh and not expect the world out of him as well.
That's about it.
boyohboyohboy replied: my news years resolution this year is to remind myself that life does not have to be taken so seriously, that things can go wrong and life wont end..
I also intend to focus on the real important things and not material, or self centered things...
and budget... budget... budget...
TheOaf66 replied: I like those, I shall work on the first one and remind my DW to work on the second
NikkiM replied: Mine is to save money!
Cece00 replied: I havent thought about mine yet...guess I need to get on that.
MotherForever2043 replied: My resolutions are to get this baby out of me and to just to enjoy this year more.
sparkys2boys replied: ahhh, that time of year again. Mine are to also be more patient with the kids on those days that they are driving me nuts!! And to try and not to be such a clean freak all the darn time.
Mommy2BAK replied: My resolutions are:
To make sur emy husband and daughter know at all times just how much they mean to me
And to make this year even better than the last.
Oh and maybe lose this extra 25 pounds I've gained this last year
My3LilMonkeys replied: Well, there's almost a week to go before New Year's and I've already got 5
1. To lose at least 30 more lb, preferably 40
2. To get into good enough shape to be able to run a 5k (a 10k would be nice but I don't know how realistic that is)
3. To get my financial life under control (would be much easier if DH would get a job, but I want to do it under any circumstances)
4. To be more organized in my home life and keep a cleaner house.
5. To be more patient and understanding with my family.
However - I am rewarding myself - once I accomplish all of my goals I am going to get my tattoo.
3_call_me_mama replied: HMMMM>>> let me think here!
1) to keep my house in order~ not looking lile a small tornado went through 2) to have more patience with my children. 3)to loose at least 50lbs (prefer to loose 70 but we'll settle for 50 this year!) 4) to make more of an effort with my borthers nad extended family (try to get togetehr more) 5) to get our finances back under control adn re build our savings account!
OH and 6) To stop having typos when i type! LOL
holley79 replied: Ok here they go:
1.) quit smoking again
2.) Lose 45 pounds
3.) Be more productive around the house and be more active picking up.
4.) Try to keep in mind Annika is 1 not 20 and I need to be more patient with her.
5.) Be a little more affectionate toward DH and not be so mean.
Number 5 I think is the biggy. Boy have we been fighting since the birth of Annika.
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: well i guess i would have to say lose all the weight after the baby is born. But, i honestly cannot say it is all baby fat cause i have only gained 16lbs. But i will FOR SURE blame it on the baby fat
grapfruit replied: Hmmm....I think I'll jump on the lose weight band wagon. I want to lose about 20 pounds or so. I've been doing crunches and pushups every morning, so hopefully that will help.
And also get finances in order and SaVe SaVe SaVe!!!
(I want to save for a DP for a house!)
MomToJade&Jordan replied: It's time to get back on the weight loss horse for me. I have REALLY fallen off (Although I haven't gained much since faling off because of work).
Hillbilly Housewife replied: 1) On the weight wagon here too. I'd like to get to 150 pounds. Not too hard, it's only about 25 pounds away.
2) Keep up my FLY Lady routines a little better. I don't do them all the time, and the days where I don't do them, I've noticed I'm much crabbier.
3) Not to cuss so much.
4) Stop biting my nails...
5) Add one extra vegetarian meal a week, and save the money from that meal's usual meat portion for a nice trip for dh and I. He won't notice anyways.
MoonMama replied: Mine are:
Lose the baby weight.
Save up some money.
Try to be more relaxed and not stress about things so easily.
Be more organized and get my house in order.
My2Beauties replied: Mine are:
1.) When the baby comes to make sure I exercise and eat right to lose the weight quickly.
2.) To be more understanding of Hanna, she's only 3 and I act like she's supposed to do everything right So I'm definitely jumping on this bandwagon
3.) To look for a WAH job or something that allows me to work from home 2-3 days a week at least (doubt I'll find it though)
4.) To save up as much vacation time as I can throughout this year so that I can go on vacation in September and then take a week off the week after Christmas next year
5.) To save up as much $$ as we can and be able to make some extra payments on our house this year
6.) To realize that DH isn't perfect either and continue to compromise on things we argue about like we have been the past few weeks (it's been going wondefully)
7.) To make a concious effort to see relatives I haven't seen in a very long time!
