Yes, BIL did that to his face with a crow bar after finding out what he did to his daughter.

My niece will need to be there in the room with the guy for the hearing though.

There are so many what if's posed with this situation, because of the judge letting this sicko idiot out on the street, unfortunately what's done is done and i am soooo sorry to hear about him doing this to your niece. This is heartbreaking. As for that sicko scumbag (i'd love to call him something else here ) he got his just due from your ex BIL, he got less than his just due IMO, I know your BIL would have loved to just kill that idiot. He did what any father would do. I'm glad they aren't going to pursue those charges.

As for your BIL I am so glad that at least a small slice of justice was done and he will not be charged. The %^$#^** that did this will never truly pay no matter how long he sits in prison for. I hope that he gets to know someone bigger and even more vial than he is real well in prison! I am so sorry!

I will keep her in my prayers. How horrible. What a monster! I pray justice is served....but it won't take away the trauma she will endure. Poor thing.

I hope charges are dropped against your BIL McDade got what he deserved but not quite enough. People like that when they are convicted should be turned over to the parents of the child.

No, I haven't talked to her. I have been getting my news through my Step-Mother. I just don't feel like I can contact her yet... I think she's doing ok - getting counseling, etc.
