Next Size car seat - Eddie Bauer
MyBabeMaddie wrote: Well Maddie has about outgrown her infant car seat so we got her the next size up.
It is a 3-in-1 Eddie Bauer car seat. I don't know much about Eddie Bauer car seats just know they are good cars. Its a pain to try to install I still have to run up to the Fire Station and get it checked.
Anyone know anything about them? It's a 5point harness.
JadensMama05 replied: Well I don't have one but I really wanted one for Jaden but they were a bit too expensive for me. I could only spend like $70 on his carseat. The one we got is a five-point harness too. I love that. I makes me feel like he's really safe. And it's not a PITA either. You'll have to post a picture of the carseat you want (please?) cuz I'd like to see it. Eddie Bauer has amazing baby stuff.

PrairieMom replied: I have that exact same seat, only mine is costo brand, and was a bit cheaper. I had a hard time getting it installed right too. It took 2 firemen to get it in tight enough, and it takes up a TON of space in the back seat. I don't think It can be installed into a car correctly because of the amount of space it takes up. It barely fits in the 2nd row of my van! now that its in I love it tho. I have 2 others that match that I use for Ben.
luvmykids replied: Macie had that one and I loved it, it seemed the most padded out of all of them (in my price range anyway LOL). I had to trade with a friend though because it didn't fit in my car properly with the twins' seats too.
moped replied: I have that one i think......i love it - I think it rated good........
moped replied: yes i do have that one - in blue!
Good choice!
summer5e replied: Is that a rear facing or foward facing car seat?
MyBabeMaddie replied: It can go either way - rear-facing up to 35lbs forward is heavier I can't remember the number
PrairieMom replied: foward goes up to 100 I think.
MyBabeMaddie replied: Tara - Did you watch them install it? I figured out how to install it forward facing but rear facing is a mystery - I wanna go have it checked but I don't know where to go? Our local police station won't do it cause they are not insured for it
PrairieMom replied: Hang on, I'll take a pic of it.
PrairieMom replied:

Does that help a little?

MyBabeMaddie replied: Thanks Tara!! Did the firemen give you that green foamy thing? I need one cause the angle is bad - Does your car have the harness things? I have been trying with the hooks but the seatbelt looks easie Thanks agaiN!
PrairieMom replied: Apparently you cant use the LATCH with rear facing, but foward facing you can. and yeah, The firemen gave me the aqua noodles and the non slip pad.
