No more booger sucker - I have an official...

DansMom replied: Oh, that's great news!!! I can't wait to put the booger-sucker away. Daniel is just starting to copy us when we sneeze, cough or blow our noses, so that is a good start. He'll grab a tissue and pretend to wipe his nose (of course, we aren't allowed anywhere near his face with anything resembling a cloth or tissue). He can't really blow out though---he sniffs in instead.

Ashley will blow her nose too. But, she doesn't use her finger....she just blows and blows and blows until those little boogers come out. Now, I have to teach her what a tissue is for, LOL. Sometimes at night when the heat is on and it gets a little dry, I have to use the booger sucker to get it all out so she can sleep well.

Kaitlin'smom replied: glad he can blow his nose, Kaitlin has no clue yet so I play a game with her witht the booger retriver and tissues she she only somewhat screams her head off!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: LOL!!!! WTG Taven!!!!!! I wish I could get Jade to blow her nose. She absolutely despizes the bugger sucker. It would be great if she could do that now. Her nose is just a running.

It started with asking him "what's a pig say?" and we would always wrinkle our nose and snort. well he could never do the snort so he started breathing through his nose really hard..so we started copying him and it finally got to the point where he would blow so hard that his boogers would come out..he's just getting over a cold so they (the boogers) are in abundance and he was often blowing bubbles in his nose...eeeewwww so i just started grabbing a tissue and asking him to blow and i think he figured out, if he blows out and i wipe his nose really lightly then he's cool because the booger sucker stays away!!

sorry not much help over here...but you can always try the what's the pig say approach ...good luck!!!
