No more bouncer chair!!! - ugh

I babysat for my sil today (she had to work) so anyways my nephew wanted something that i couldnt get while i was holding her so i put her in her bouncer and turned it on and two seconds later she was screaming her head off (it was cute LOL) so i looked at her and saw that she had fallen over (toward her right foot) and was about to fall out of the thing and she was buckled in i couldnt believe it!!!! So i cant put her in her bouncer to go the the bathroom anymore !!!! I hope she sits up soon she gets SOOO aggravated when she cant and i want her to be able to try it before i sit her up, this kid hates to lay down LOL she turn BRIGHT red if i lay her down when she isnt tired!!!

ediep replied: do you have a boppy pillow? I used to prop Jason up on that so he would sort of be sitting up. That might help.

no i thought about getting one and then i didnt breastfeed so i didnt.

I did not breastfeed either but Becca loved her boppy to play on. She will grab her bottle now and go lay down on it and eat!(it is funny) Have you about a excersaucer. I started putting Becca in hers when she was about the same age as Alyssa, but she was to the point where she could support her head very well by herself. For like the first week while I was nervous I put a pillow on the bottom for her to stand on. Anyways Good Luck!

jem0622 replied: She is of the age also where you could put her in the exersaucer. Just put it on the lowest setting. Another option is the Fisher Price rocking chair. It can hold my 4 yr old son. It has two settings and would hold her just fine while you shower. Plus she can use it as a rocking chair when she gets older.

I also have a FP infant to toddler rocker. It is nice, but Rebecca has never been much to sit in it or anywhere really. She loves to stand so the exersaucer worked well for her!

Kaitlin'smom replied: Oh my. I was sad when i had to put the bouncer away she loved it so much! As others suggested and exersaucer or walker or bobby pillow to hlep her sit would be good now. and the first two you can have in in the bathroom with you and shower.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww what a character! Sorry to hear that you can't use the bouncer anymore. Do you have an infant Carrier/Carseat? I used to just sit Claudia in that and put her mobile in front of her. She just loved it.
