Way to go Mommy - nice isn't it when you trust your instincts and they are right - gives you confidence
PrairieMom replied: poor thing. What are they doing for her?
amynicole21 replied: She's just continuing the antibiotics she started this weekend since they seem to be helping. From what I'm reading online, we may be battling this for a while... I hope that isn't the case.
amynicole21 replied: I really don't know, but it's possible. His infection cleared on its own though... I told him to watch for any more flare ups and if they happen to get to the dr. right away.
Kaitlin'smom replied: ewww ouch glad she is healing and hoep its not long.
lisar replied: I am glad she is healing.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: That must have been so scary for you! I'm glad to hear that she is on antibiotics.
DansMom replied: I'm hearing about so many cases of this right now. I wonder if it's on the rise? I'm so glad Nora is healing. Poor girl!
aspenblue1 replied: I'm glad she is feeling better.
PrairieMom replied: it is.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: MRSA is the price we pay for the over prescription of antibiotics. And it is on the rise, along with resistant strains of many other bacteria. Unfortunately, some people can become hosts, they carry it in their bodies, it never makes them sick, but they can easily transmit it to others. Make sure your daycare providers wash hands. I am glad to hear that Nora's on the mend, be sure to do the full course of antibiotics.
