Not showing at all yet - starting to get nervous

jdkjd wrote: It seems like when I was pregnant with Bailey I could tell that my waist was getting thicker by this point. I don't know if the belly is just starting out bigger or what, but it's making me nervous.

Are any of the other March Expecting mommies showing? Or do the BTDT mommies remember where they were at 12 weeks belly-wise?

Schnoogly replied: Um, not sure but maybe you have more room in there 'cause you're already more stretched out from Bailey? So it looks like you're not showing?

Just an idea! I didn't really show until I was at least 5-6 months, more like 7. But I could definitely feel my uterus moving up past my pubic bone by 12 weeks, about halfway between my bone and belly button, if I remember right...there was some padding in there too for sure!! People didn't really know I was pg until I was at least 7 months...I just looked fat(ter).

jcc64 replied: I really didn't show until the 5th month or so, with any of my kids. My buddy, who is now 18 wks pg, was wearing a bikini 2 wks ago, and you'd never know she was pg (she deserves to be shot).

MomToMany replied: I can tell I'm getting bigger, because it's getting harder to bend over like I used to. My uterus is definitely up above my pelvis now. But I didn't really "show" until about 5 or 6 months; blush.gif I have a lot of "padding" there anyway, so it would be harder to tell until at least 6 months on me.

I wouldn't worry too much; it's so noticeable with your first, because you haven't been stretched like that before. There's just more room now, so it will take longer to "show".

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I didn't start showing with Jade until I was about 5 or 6 months. I carried really high and I'm busty so you really couldn't tell I was pg for a while.

mckayleesmom replied: I wore my jeans until I was 7 months pregnant...I wouldn't worry.

CantWait replied: I didn't really start showing till I was about 6 months pregnant, although by the 3rd month there were a few clothes that I couldn't wear as well.

angelhair02 replied: do not worry. did not even shoe with my son until I was about seven months preg. everyone thought i would have a small baby but when he was born he was almost eight pounds!

chloe&tysmommy replied: I'm sure everything will be fine...and if your still unsure then I would make an appt just to ease your mind

But, like the others said, theres more room there now so you might not show for awhile

keep us posted

kit_kats_mom replied: Aw, try not to worry. I didn't show for a long time either...of course I had some extra padding to start with. I rented the baby beat doppler and that helped ease my mind quite a bit. Like some of the others said though, make an appointment if it will ease your mind. grouphug.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I'm 25 weeks now.... and I'm showing enough now. But I wasn't a month ago...it just kinda...popped out overnight... lol

Don't worry bout it! Have you been measured by your doctor?

jdkjd replied: It's more that I haven't noticed any change at all. I ordered the Baby Beat so maybe that will help. I'm still feeling preggo though (boobs getting bigger, teary and tired).

Thanks for the encouragement. wub.gif I'm just feeling really paranoid.

jen replied: I am new sorry to intrude! I am 11 weeks and not showing a damn bit!! mad.gif Actually I have a tiny pooch if that is what you want to call it! None of my pants are comfortable! My dresses just make me look bloated! But then some days I look thin and not even noticably the least bit pregnant so it must be bloating LOL biggrin.gif OH well it will come and I will look back and say Oh My Look how much skinnier I was back then! ha!

Then we rented a doppler and we are obsessed with searching for the heartbeat, we have now resorted to pretending to hear it! ha ha! No not really! But I don't think we have heard it yet! LOL! Okay well It was nice reading your posts!
