Now Kathleen has the POX!!! - HELP>>>GOING INSANE!!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww poor little baby! Both of my kids had the Chicken Pox when they were 5 & 3. It was awful. I gave them lots of benedryl and used a lot of calomine lotion. I've heard that Aveno baths really help. I'm glad your DH is taking her to see the doctor, the doctor might have other suggestions. I hope she feels better soon!

Think of it this way.....they are getting the poz over with while they are young. One of my best friends had chicken pox the week before our senior prom!!!

Guess not.. cause she's plastered! and a friend of ours has a 3 1/2 month old adn she's got them too...

we took Kathleen to the Dr's yesterday adn they put her on an antibiotic for skin irritation, cause she has them so bad her face is all swollen and some are about the size of a nickle adn NASTY looking. Plus the Dr gave us an antibiotic ointment to put on the nasty ones so they don't get infected and scar.

Look at it this way its over with and you will not have to worry again unless she dont get a dose of it.

MommyToAshley replied: Poor girl! I hope the meds and ointment make her feel better. At least she won't rmember them when she is older! I am with Edie on this one, it is much worse when you are older. I actually had the chicken poxs three times... the last time I was 21 and it was horrible!

3_call_me_mama replied: I know all she will have for memories of it are pictures.... we took some cause my inlaws wanted to see how bad she had them, also when she gets older she'll be glad she had them when she was little....

M2A .. my brother had them twice and he siad they were worse as he got older...
