That's all I can say.

Bee_Kay replied: 141 in one day?!?!?! wow

ashtonsmama replied:
I think the most I've ever done was like 76 in a day, and that was on a day with no baby, and the whole computer and day to myself.

Bee_Kay replied:
ITA!

and there for awhile I thought *I* was an extreme poster/board hog with having over 60 in one day! lol

MyLuvBugs replied: Does it really matter how many you have in one day?

3xsthefun replied: All I can say is. ohmy.gif

ashtonsmama replied:
You are most certainly not, Barb.

What's the definition of a board hog anyways? Because now I'm feeling silly since I have posted more than once in this thread...

What? Like being deleted?

gr33n3y3z replied:
I guess the data base cant handle that many from one person
or there is a limit to how many any one person can do in a day or 24 hour period. And it just all caught up
I would think its for safety reasons of some sort

ashtonsmama replied: Um, F.R.E.A.K.Y.

This is what I see:

mamasbigbaby 15-July 06 333 120 (today's post count) 22.02%

How funny. Good feature!

Brias3 replied: Quite honestly, I wouldn't have time to make that many even if I tried/it was allowed! I don't think it matters anyway- we come on to converse with each other, not see who can make the most posts per day.

ashtonsmama replied:

Even though sometimes I feel like a bit of an addict, and feel like I have to respond to every post and thread, I rarely have the time to do it.

Sure we celebrate milestones, like hitting 1,000 or whatnot...
smile.gif
But it's no competition.

CantWait replied:
No it doesn't matter. However what does matter is that someone is here just to get more posts and not truly be here for the right reasons or for the reasons that the rest of us are here. To gain parenting experience, and meet and talk to other people. Not win a post popularity contest.

We have to remember that to get access to certain forums also that you need a certain number of posts, and if a member reaches that number within a few days, then there really is no point to having restricted access.

Brias3 replied:
I often think of this too.....it's just a number of posts that the private access forums are gauged by, not the "type" or nature of a post.

Bee_Kay replied:
ita!

ashtonsmama replied:
Amen.

I'm glad that there are restrictions on certain areas, but it is a little unnerving how easily you can get up there in the post count, I know I'm always baffled by mine...

MyLuvBugs replied:
That's exactly what I was thinking wink.gif

Nina J replied: Wow, that's alot of posts. It's taken me nearly four months just to get over 700. Sometimes I just prefer to read posts, or someone said exactly what I was going to.
