OK so I sort of went to the hospital - Went to doctor's first...update

My2Beauties wrote: So I laid down last night and the contractions sort of tapered off, they were still coming but not nearly as intense, I was able to get some sleep but not much. I decided to not go to work today and to make a dr's appt to be safe and see if I've dilated anymore. Well when I got there they had to work me in, so I waited FOREVER. Then when she finally came in, I had noticed that the spot where I had been sitting was completely wet turns out it was a large amount of discharge, they did a test for fluid, no fluid was coming out. So she gave me the exam and I was still only 1 cm dilated at that point and only like 10% effaced she said so she didn't think there was a need for concern but she decided to send me to traige anyways to have them monitor my contractions. So I get over there and they hook me up to the monitors. At this point I was having pretty small contractions, there were a few big ones in there but still sporadic and not coming at a regular steady pace. BUT...by the time that hour was up I'd dilated another 1/2 centimeter. So I'm 1 1/2 centimeters now. She said that it could be any day or it could be a week or two, it's just hard to tell at this point. They poked and prodded me so much today that I'm seriously cramped up and Miss Aubrey is fit to be tied, she didn't like being monitored and she having a ball kicking me half to death I'm still having some smaller contractions, nothing major like last night and not as close together as last night...but contractions nonetheless. The doc said if I go now she will not stop my labor, she's gonna let me go!! I'm hoping she hangs in there another week or two at least just to ensure she is bigger and as healthy as possible. But from what they are saying she's already fairly big and she would be completely fine if she were to come now. I plan on walking A LOT in the next few weeks to try and progress things along, the doc said I was fine to do that. But not today....I'm way too sore Sorry it took so long to update, I was at the doctors for over 3 hours, then I had to mail my federal taxes off and I went to Walgreen's to buy some travel size shampoo, conditioner, etc...so I could pack my bags
