OMG He says he's Gay!!

The 33-year-old actor said he was motivated to disclose his sexuality because of recent "speculation and interest in my private life and relationships."

Harris stars on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother. He started on TV as a teen, playing the namesake doctor on the series Doogie Howser, M.D.

Ok like some said makes no difference (McSteamy could be gay-women would still dream about him ) BUT now that 'George' has come out don't you think his desire to chase Callie is not as believable? IDK I found myself saying but you are more an Alex type of guy

BTW~ NOT surprised about Neil Patrick Harris either...or that guy that played Jonathan on Who's the Boss.....

I loved him in that movie with White Castle in the title. He was sooooo funny.

1lilpeanut2love replied: I have good gaydar, but with him I didn't pinpoint. I can usual look at someone and tell if they are gay or not. I watched a show not long ago and they even showed how you could spot a gay child. Sorry. They showed a set of twin boys who were 9 yrs. old--one was gay and the other not. You could tell by the way the one talked, acted, and the things he said and did.
I guess now I can see the fact that he is gay, but oh well. Who cares!
