OMG!!!! I am so relieved i made it home!!!

mummy2girls wrote: The roads are so bad right now because of the snowfall. I was on my way home from work with jenna and i was going 40...I went to stop at a red light and my wheel must of hit a patch of black ice because i did a doughnut. And when i stopped a yeild sign was right in front of me I missed it by an inch. But even if i did hit it i wouldnt of done damage because i was going so slow! Luckily no one was near me. That freaked me out. Jenna was fast asleep in the back so she didnt even see that happen smile.gif And then i see these smart arses not caring about the roads because they were speeding and hitting ice and spinning out of control. but just like everyone says...alberta has the worst drivers. with the most reported accidents in winter and fender benders and fatalities caused by speeders and drunk drivers! I live in a scarey province. unsure.gif

MommyToAshley replied: OH how scary!!! Glad you are ok!!!! I hope they have the roads cleared before you have to go back out tomorrow!

5littleladies replied: Oh my goodness that is scary!! We have terrible drivers here in Minnesota too. It's amazing how quickly people forget how to drive on snow. dry.gif

If you have too much snow you can send some my way. I can't wait!!! rolling_smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Bad drivers are in Minnesota too...and our mall parking lot is horrible. I have almost hit a car every day of work because the parking lot was ice. And we have 4 wheel drive.

mummy2girls replied:
Ill mail you some snow....I hate driving in the snow!

CantWait replied: I agree, Alberta drivers are reckless and careless. I had to go out today to get Milk cause we ran out, that was some freaky scary blink.gif

aspenblue1 replied: How scary. I am glad are ok

natjasem replied: Oh, well I'll send some sunshine you all's way- it's going to be 75 degrees today in lovely Kansas City. laugh.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: grouphug.gif I'm sorry that happened to you but I have to disagree ONTARIO has the worst drivers! Well at least THUNDER BAY! Glad you and Jenna are okay! grouphug.gif

MomToMany replied:
Yep!! So true!! Since we've had snow, I've seen plenty of cars in the ditch. One slid across a small pond and crashed into a tree. Some people can be idiots when it comes to winter driving.

ohmy.gif We don't have ANY snow anymore. It all melted away. Now all we have is mud, which is the worst thing because I hate it all over the kids' shoes and boots, plus DH doesn't know how to wipe the big chunks off. Hannah used to pick the snow off his boots and eat it, now she's eating mud ohmy.gif .

mummy2girls replied:
tell me about it! it was the scarest 10 minute drive home ever!!!!!!!!!

5littleladies replied:
I'll be checking my mailbox!! wink.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
heh...nah.... Montreal has the worst drivers!! I hate going there! tongue.gif

Glad everyone is fine! Scary!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: YIKES! I cannot and am not allowed to drive in the snow. I feel sorry for those that have to drive in it a lot. Fortunately we don't have much snow around here. Last year (the only time it snowed) my mom was here for an appt and we were stuck in Dallas. It took us 4 hours to get home. This is normally a 30 minute drive. The roads were freezing so fast and they were only going to get worse so I knew we had to get home then. It was so stressful. Roads were closed, wrecks were EVERYWHERE and I was freaking out. I had never driven in icy weather.

Okay, so that is my experience with driving in the snow! LOL! laugh.gif

And I thought they drove bad in the snow here b/c we never see it. I guess that isn't true! rolling_smile.gif That is good to know! LOL!

My2Carebears replied: Glad your ok!!! I so don't like driving in snow! And its coming next week!
