OMG..Im so shaken...

I occassionally go in to my aunt's work to help with typing and stuff just to get some money to help us out a bit more when baby arrives.

Well,today I went in to the offices..(its a Christian Organisation).I was busy upstairs and I came dont to do some faxing and I saw the receptionist in a state of tears.I didnt have time to talk to her cos her brother came to pick her up and they left...I got really worried. My aunt came down and she told me that a few minutes ago a stranger had come into the building and pulled a knife and gun on the receptionist and told her that he was sent to kill the receptionist!! But he couldnt do it but he warned her that someone else would come back to finish the job some time!

I instantly froze and just cried!!!! What if I had came down just a few minutes earlier...the stranger might have harmed us cos I would have also been able to identify him...OMG...I dont even wanna imagine what could have happened!!!

I called Devlin to fetch me and I could barely speak and he rushed over and he went crazy!!! I just came home and just hugged my baby girl and my hubby!!I just know God was watching over us today!!!

I still cant belive that it all actually happened!!!!

That must have been a terrible situation for you, I'm sorry you had to be there. I'm so glad that you didn't go down when that stranger came in! I pray that that women will be okay! Boys r us replied: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad that no one was physically harmed..emotionally, I know you all probably are..but at least no one was killed!
I don't think I would ever go back there!

coasterqueen replied: OMG! I'd be freaking out too!!!!!! I've never had anything like that happen around here but we have to keep our office doors locked because of all the dangerous people walking around outside our doors.

DansMom replied: That's awful---I can't imagine the kind of fear that woman must be experiencing right now. I hope she has some idea who it is---someone she rejected, an ex, or someone she recently argued with. Hopefully the police will be able to track down the person responsible. I suppose the guy could have been a nut who has something against the organization, which would make him harder to find. What an awful feeling to be so close to hostility and threat like that---so sorry!

The receptionist is 25 yrs old,married for 4 yrs and has a 2 yr old son.Her husband was in prison recently,dont know for what.I hope its not someone trying to get back at him through her....
