OMG!!! My sister had her baby.....

And guess what? It's a BOY!!!!!
OMG!!! Her u/s said girl, but obviously you can't trust them. She and her DH had the baby's room done in a girly theme, had all girl clothes, and was so set on a girl. This also happened to my sister Alice. Her u/s said girl, and she had a boy, too! Now you know why I didn't find out!
I guess I'm still in a little shock. They named him Wyatt Abner (her DH's middle name). He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 21 inches long.
I'm SO happy for them!!!
~CrazieMama~ replied: Wow!!! Congrats to your sister. I was supposed to be a boy, but of course came out a girl...lol I hope to see some pics...hint hint...lol
DansMom replied: Congratulations to your sister!!! I secretly love it when that happens.... It's like God/Fate or whatever you believe in is winking at you, reminding you to be open to surprises! They'll have time to change the decor and they probably got at least some baby clothes that are gender neutral
kimberley replied: YAY! congrats to your sister!
3 kids, and i have had no desire to find out! wonder why lol
Welcome little Wyatt!!!
maliksmommy replied: That is so exciting!!! I was always afraid that my ultrasound was wrong, it wasn't thank goodness. Tell her congratulations!! We can't wait to see pictures. Boys are great
aspenblue1 replied: Congratulations to your sister!!!!!
3xsthefun replied: Congrats to your sister!!
Boy!...was that a suprise!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: OMG!! How exciting! I can't wait to see him! I think we have finally decided not to find out the gender and be surprised in the delivery room as we were with Maddie. Besides, I won't be having another u/s. LOL!
Congratulations!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: That's funny! lol!
Congrats to her!
Kaitlin'smom replied: ops did they say it was deffina;y a girl or were just leaning that way? with mine the tech showed me and it really was no question a girl for sure. I had to know.
CONGRTAS to your sister and her family!
MomToMany replied: As far as I know, they were pretty sure it was a girl. If there was any doubt, I don't think my sister would've decorated everything for a girl and bought all girl clothes.
It might be a couple weeks before I get any pictures. My mom & sister are staying down there for a couple more weeks I think.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I'll be sure to tell them when I can!
A&A'smommy replied: wow CONGRATULATIONS to the Mommy and Daddy and also to the Aunt!!!!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I forgot to mention this happened to a girl I worked with. We were DDB and she ended up having her baby first. They had everything girl and we gave her a girl shower. She had a boy. I think when she had her u/s it was too early to be sure. It was her first baby and she was excited to find out. She got pg again really quick, though and finally got her girl. LOL!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Wow I have heard of this happening! CONGRATULATIONS to your sister!
MommyToAshley replied: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! And, wow! What a surprise!
I did that same thing with Ashley, decorated her room in pink and bought a ton of pink stuff. I had a total of 5 U/S's and in all of them they said that they were sure it was a girl. I would have been really surprised, like I am sure your Sis was, if Ashley had been a boy.
I am sure she can exchange all of the girl stuff for boy stuff... even the crib bedding, etc. And, it will make for a funny story down the road.
Congrats again, I can't wait to see the pics!
CantWait replied: WoW, congrats to your sister Is she going to do the room over again? Can she exchange the clothes?
paradisemommy replied: congrats to your sister and family!!! i kept telling dh when i was pg..what if they were wrong and he comes out and is a girl??? we had ALL blue and boy colors too..but we had 2 ultrasounds and there was no mistaking he was definitely a boy..but i can imagine the total shock when they said "it's a boy!!"
MomToMany replied: I haven't talked to my sister yet. She had tons of visitors at the hospital, so I'll call her once she gets home. Her DH's family is huge!
So, I don't know what she's going to do. Sounds like she had everything washed and ready for baby. I hope she can exchange SOME of it!
