Mommieto2Girls replied: Yesterday I got his address which is a rv park and I call information and got the main number to the park. I spoke with a women and asked her if he lived in the park and she tells me yes, so I ask for either his lot number or phone number, but she says she can't give out the info. So I asked her if I can leave my name and number and if she will give it to him. So she did and 2 hours later he calls me. He is in Pa. and doing good he said.He has been married the last 8 years, but no more children. I was sooooo happy to talk to him. I told him all about his grand children. He is on aol and gave me his online name and I gave him mine. I then gave him my house number. It was great talking to him after all these years. Now hopefully when he calls again Michelle will be here so she can talk to him too.

Mommieto2Girls replied: Well, I have talked to my father everday now, either online or by phone, or both. I sent him the web sites to all 3 kids, so he has gotten to see what his grand children look like. I also sent him a picture of DH and I. He sent me a picture of him and his wife but somehow I didn't get it, so today he will send it again. Michelle is comming over tonight and I will call him from here so she can talk to him.
Here is my dilemia(sp?). My dad asked me not to tell my mom that I found him and that we are talking. He says she will cause alot of problems and he doesn't want to lose contact with us again. He also said he wants to explain everything that happened but he wants to do it in person. He did tell me that my mom and step dad told he it would be best for him to be out of our lives so they could raise us and my mom wouldn't let him see us. I don't know what to do, I don't want to lie to my mom, I think maybe I will just wait until she askes if I found him let tell her yes and that we are speaking. What do you think I should do?

I told him we will be driving up there soon to see him in like a month or two, whenever we can get some money to go. It's just so weird talking to him and I don't even remember his voice, but at the same time I know it's him cause of what he says and things I can remember. Last night I talked to him on the phone and I told him I remember the last time seeing him and he was with a women that had two kids and he tells me her name and it clicks in my head, then I always thought the place where he lived was in a certain city but I was way off and he tells me it was in another place . I had no idea.

mckayleesmom replied: I would give him a chance to tell his side of the story before telling your mom you found him. And if she gets mad I would just explain that life is too short, and your not taking sides anymore. I would just put the past behind me and start new. Not everyone gets a chance to get a parent back.
