OMGOSH - I just fell down the stairs
Mommy2Isabella wrote: OUCH ... my back is ALL RED!!!
It scared me so bad ... the worst part ... I WAS HOLDING BELLA!! She just woke up from her nap and I was taking her downstairs, and I slipped ... < I do this often but normally no baby intow and I can catch myself, but of course I didn't want to drop her so I tightened up and took the fall ... YIKES, I feel as if i was just in a car accident!!!
Calimama replied: Ouch, I hope you are okay.
holley79 replied: Ouch I hope you are ok. I have fallen down mine numerous time.
TheOaf66 replied: been there done that...i did that with Tanner and he thought it was a great ride
luvbug00 replied: Hope you do't get any unexpected pains later. Glad Bella is ok.
mummy2girls replied: id be going to the doc being your high risk pregnancy...
whitting713 replied: I agree with Shelly. You might want to give the doc a call.

boyohboyohboy replied: i hope you are ok, and bella too! i fell once when i was preg with jake, i was carrying laundry down the stairs, and fell and scraped my entire arm down a concrete wall. but the dr did say to me, that they always want to be called if you fall. so it is probably a good idea.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Ouch! I've done this several times at our home too. Luckily never with the kids in hand. But DH has. Carpeted stairs are slippery! I was holding a couple glasses once and fell. Broke the glass and a big piece cut my elbow. This is the reason I want a one level home.
Hope you are okay and its only a minor bruise.
Mommy2Isabella replied: I was wondering if I should call the doc ... I mean I am having cramping but I have that all the time it seems ... I guess I should call ... I would hate for me not to call and something go wrong ...
Danalana replied: Yeah, you should call! Geez, I'm glad we don't have stairs.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Ouch! I hope your back feels better fast. I agree call your doc just to be safe.
DillsMommy replied: Ouch! About two weeks ago I fell TWICE. The first time I just slid down the steps, nothing serious, but scared me. The second time I twisted my ankle so bad I thought for sure it was broken. So I went to the doc. to check my ankle and the baby. Thankfully nothing was wrong. But my ankle still hurts! I would call your doc. though just to be safe (if you haven't already) Hope you don't get too sore.
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Wow -- hope you are ok !
A&A'smommy replied: yikes honey BTDT yes I was 6months preggo, dh about tore the door down I have also fallen with alyssa in my arms and in those situations you just have to take the fall and protect your baby!!!
J-rod replied: better safe than sorry....give that doc a call.
hope you and baby, and bella are all ok.
MoonMama replied: I'm so sorry, I hope you feel better and aren't too sore. And I agree call your doctor!
CantWait replied: Glad you and Bella are ok. I've fallen with Anthony, and actually droped him down stairs in his carseat (thankfully) Sending some positive thoughts that little bean is alright also.
Mommy2Isabella replied: Hey guys!! Thanks!!! for all the PT's!!
My back is KILLING ME TODAY! I did have some cramping afterwards yesterday but I was really active as well, so I am positive it wasn't the fall. The dr. just told me to REALLY TAKE IT EASY TODAY.
** Wondering how to do that with 3 children. I am just laying around, I just came up here to take a shower. Sal is cutting out of work early. I think I may have pulled a muscle or something. I am going to call the Dr. and see if there is anything I can take as far as a muscle relaxer < once sal gets home ... **
I really appreciate you guys. I loose my footing on the stairs MORE than ONCE a DAY!! But never actually fell until yesterday. I fell when I was HUGELY pregnant with Bella, and I had to go in and get an U/S done and fetal monitoring!
Thanks guys, I wont be around much today considering my current circumstances! Hopefully I will be back in action tomorrow!
whitting713 replied: The important thing is to take care of yourself. I'm glad Sal will be able to help.

Calimama replied: I hope the pain lets up. Have a good day relaxing!
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Glad everything seems to be ok -- other than the back pain, that is. I took a muscle relaxer for back pain when I was pregnant with Abby. My doc prescribed CYCLOBENZAPRINE. So yes, do call your Doctor about that. Beware of it making you super drowsy. At least that's the effect it had on me. I could hardly keep my eyes open.
Good luck !
3xsthefun replied: Ouch..glad you are ok. Be sure to take care of yourself and try to relax much as possible.
MotherForever2043 replied: I'm glad everyone's okay. Please, take it easy!
