Oh dear! I cut Brianna's hair today.....

5littleladies wrote: This morning I was brushing Bri's hair and I found a couple of hard clumps of stuff in her hair. I asked her what it was and she cheerfully replied "Oh, it's ok-It's just fingernail polish." Great. She is ALWAYS getting stuff in her hair and she throws a fit when we have to brush it so I decided to trim it up a bit-just an inch and a half or so, but hopefully enough to get it above the "getting stuff in it" point. So I start cutting....everything is going treat and then Brianna decides to give her head a bit jerk in the middle of my cutting and the scissors angles up and lets just say I cut more than I had planned on. It looks really cute and I'm sure we will have virtually no problems with getting stuff in it but it is short!

You do such a great job cutting your girls' hair. Have you ever cut hair for a living or had formal training? I cut Ashley's bangs once and swore I would never do it again. I get her hair cut every couple of months at the salon.

Thanks Dee Dee! I will be honest though-It looks better in the picture than it does in real life. It's pretty crooked and jagged. So to answer your question, no I've never cut hair for a living. I'd probably have lots of people mad at me if I did!

I have cut Abbys hair a couple of times and regretted it LOL She is only 20 months though... she doesn't know how to stay still at all. The last time I took her to the hairdresser and she couldn't do a better job than I did seriously! Not to mention the fact she looked ready to scream. I felt sorry for her. Abby wouldn't stay still for one second. She just kept shaking her head. She managed to cut about 3-5 mm off I think LOL It is way too long still. So for our wedding we are just tying the front up. She'll have a little ponytail on the top. LOL
