Oh,no - Poor Maegan
3xsthefun wrote: She sounds really hoarse right now. I'm not sure if she is getting a cold, sore throat, or if it is from when she was really upset this morning. She was screaming and crying because I would not pick her up. I know bad mommy. But I was trying see if she would calm down and go play.
She seems be ok other wise she is eating fine and drinking fine. She has been playing and getting into everything like she always does. She don't seem to be running a fever either. So hopefully she is ok.
I was wondering should I go ahead and give her some medicine or wait it out until tonight?
moped replied: I would wait it out and see how she is later.................
mckayleesmom replied: I would wait. Remember to check her in the middle of the night to make sure she doesn't spike a fever then.
coasterqueen replied: If it were me I'd wait. I don't like to give meds unless I know for sure. Could it be allergies? Megan was extremely stuffy last nigth but I can't tell if it's teething, reflux or some sort of cold so I am waiting on meds (except her reflux meds for now).
Hope she feels better soon!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Always better to wait as far as I am concerned. I don't give Logan anything (except his BP meds) unless he has a fever over 100 or is rubbing gums or pulling ears. And our ped suggested we not use any cough meds until he is 1. But you could try some diluted juice or water to soothe her throat.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Or a popsicle.
A&A'smommy replied: I would wait and try the popsicle first!
luvbug00 replied: wait.
jacobsmama replied: I also say wait unless she is acting like she is hurting or sore and then I think it would be ok but if she is acting normal and no fever just see how it goes!
3xsthefun replied: Ok, thanks everyone. I will wait she did sneeze once. She could just have some allergies. She still acts like she is ok. She ate little bit of her dinner of course she is not a real big eater anyways. So she ate pretty normal.
She was pretty restless last night, but I don't think that is why she was awake. I will keep a eye on her tonight see how she does.
CantWait replied: Hope she's not coming down with something.
3xsthefun replied: She stills sounds hoarse this morning, other then that she seems ok. I gave her a popsicle last night and she really seemed to enjoy that. She never did run a fever well none I know of. I did check on her before I went to bed and when she woke me up once.
coasterqueen replied: Hmmm, that's very strange. Is she acting like she has a sore throat? If hoarseness is her only symptom I'd tend to ride it out.
3xsthefun replied: No, she don't seem like she has a sore throat. It don't seem to be bothering her. I will just keep a eye on her though and she how she does. I hope it is just nothing and she will be ok.
gr33n3y3z replied: I hope she isnt getting sick
But my allergies cause me to also get hoarse so No fever I would just wait and see then
3xsthefun replied: I hope she is not sick either. She really has not been sick that much.
She does kinda act like she does have allergies sometimes. Her eyes water sometimes when she is outside. I wonder if she has a allergy to something in the house.
I'm thinking she is hoarse either from allergies, fan running at night, or when she was screaming yesterday morning.
It is really weird she don't have really any other symptems going on.
chloe&tysmommy replied: awe... I hope she's not coming down with something. I noticed when Tyler laughs he sounds hoarse like he's kinda losing his voice...if it keeps up I will take him to the doctors.
Lots of ~~~~get well vibes~~~ for our kids!!!
