Ok...question for contact wearers

mckayleesmom wrote: What kind do you buy? I had them a couple years ago...they were Freshlook colorblends or something like that....I couldn't wear them hardly because I could feel them everytime I blinked....Im thinking of going with contacts again....but I want a kind that is really really good.....

mckayleesmom replied: Also..I know that some you can order samples of them...does anyone know any that send samples?

cameragirl21 replied: I've been wearing acuvues for nearly 10 years now. I've tried other brands but didn't like them because it felt like something was in my eye. I can't even feel the acuvues.
They also make a one a day but it's kind of expensive so I wear mine during the day and take them out at night so I can wear them for at least a month.
But like I told Nicole, I'd still rather get lasik and not have to wear anything, but then again, who wouldn't? wink.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
That is the kind I have been wondering about...I think they are the ones that will send you a sample too.

I would rather wear contacts.....I couldn't do Lasik....I don't like people messing with my eyes....creeps me out.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I have Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear. I loooooovveee loooooovvvveee looooovvvveee them! wub.gif

They also have Acuvue Oasys with Hydraclear Plus -- those came out shortly after I was hooked on the Advance so I have not tried them yet.

Here is a link for a coupon for a free trial pair.

mckayleesmom replied:
Dang it...I filled out the form, but I thought they just mailed them to you....My printer isn't hooked up. bawling.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: Our printer is not either, I do not know what is wrong with it. New ink, it should be good to go, but it is not. sleep.gif

So sorry Brianne.

MyLuvBugs replied: Acuvue Advanced Contacts

C&K*s Mommie replied: Several companies (Acuvue, Baush and Lomb) and maybe some more larger contact lens companies want your business so they offer coupons all the time for free trial pairs. If you really want to Brianne, you could go to the library and print off certificates there. Just an idea. smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
I have a printer...its just not plugged in.

mom2my2cuties replied: I don't wear contacts anymore since I got a really bad infection from something that was on my hands once that I didn't realize and touched them and it just was gross -

But anyway - I used Acuveve Advanced (the Hydraclear ones) and my doctor actually gave me a sample in my Rx....I would just ask and see if they have the sample in that brand that you can try smile.gif

Jamison'smama replied: It depends on the curve of your cornea. I have a steep curve so several kinds feel awful and I actually blink them out. Your doctor should be able to tell you which contacts will feel best and if the contacts he/she prescribes feel bad, take them back. I don't even know mine are in my eyes (except I can see).
