Okay Just got off the phone with Abbie - After she saw Nolen

Okay on to Nolen. The news is good and bad. He did open his eyes. He is kicking his legs but it seems to be from the pain. He doesn't really recognize them. He can't move his neck really but he looks with his eyes. He has no focus you have to be directly in his line of vision, closely. His fever is still 102.8 and they are trying to give him Motrin. Still no Tylenol due to his liver. His liver isn't improving. They increased his antibotics again. No change in the infection really. No new answers.

I asked Abbie if she got any peace from seeing him, and she said No, that it was the opposite. He has made some very small changes like opening his eyes but she said she is even more scared after seeing him herself.

Please keep praying. After talking to her I am just bawling. I love that girl and I hope her bubba gets well soon!

Dee Dee, last I talked to her they were debating on doing the spinal tap. Because of his platelet count being so low there was concern that it wouldn't seal properly afterwards and if it is in fact menengitis, that could cause new problems.
