Okay TONS of Pics..INCLUDING..THE BEAST!!!!

This is THE PRETTY tree, in the foyer..you can tell there were no kids involved on this one!




This is last night, we went to "the north Pole" and Brae sat on Santa's lap. Basically this couple down the road..OMG..I can't even begin to describe and the pics don't do justice..b/c when you see it, it just takes your breath away!
But they have like 10 acres and it's all decorated and they also have a little red shed like house where the kids can go see santa and Mrs. Claus and sit on santa's lap and get a little gift. It's free, but they accept "tips". The lights all move to the music, it's so cool!

Boys r us replied: We didn't wrap the lights around the entire tree like you would a normal tree. We did each side. Anyhow..with a really tall ladder and a broom stick..same as with the tacky icecicles.

I really like the idea of a tacky kids tree (although that tree doesn't really qualify for tacky status), but I'm lucky I can get dh to submit to 1, let alone 2, and since he's the one who does the chopping/hauling, etc.- he needs to be on board on some level.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I can picture a whole chipmunk family living in there! Love it! DH will only allow silver, glass or white on our tree, so I love anything that is out of the ordinary and fun like yours! I grew up with blinking colored lights and the icicles!

It's about 17 ft tall..and you know..it's not the tall part that bothers me..it's the fact that it's so fat! We totally lose one whole half of the living room b/c of it.

We actually have 3 trees, the kid's tree in the living room, the pretty tree in the foyer and the semi-pretty tree in the kid's playroom/family room.
But I'd never get all three if he had to cut them down, they only cut down the ugly tree. The foyer tree is fake, the playroom tree is a douglas fir we bought at a local tree stand. You know you could always get a sweet deal on a fake tree after christmas(that's what I did) and let that be your pretty tree and then the one your dh cuts down can totally be the kids!

My2Beauties replied: Sorry I am just now getting on to see this BEAST! I think it's cute, they decorated it very nicely! That thing is absoltuely HUGE though! Golly, you guys have tall cielings girl! Can you look down onto your first floor livingroom/family room from the second floor, is that why it's so tall? I love houses like that! As usual, Brae and Tanner are absolutely the cutest things on earth, and if you don't mind my saying so - so is their dad! HA! No seriously Brae looks just like his dad! You have a beautiful family!
