On the subject of husbands and cleaning
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Aaron spilled some milk the other day, about 2 cups worth. I was at work so he had to clean it up himself, I bet some choice words were said. Anyway, instead of rinsing out the dish rag he used to clean up, he simply tossed it in the hamper, still soaked with milk. Guess who got the lovely chore of laundry this morning? I was wondering why my house kind of smelled. I couldn't find anything rotten, the trash was out, the pig and ferret cages were clean, the kitchen was sparkling, but the house reeked. Wish he had at least told me. Sheesh
TANNER'S MOM replied: I know.. they don't get the small stuff. I call this half $%& at my house.. and it makes me mad. If you are gonna do it at all.. do it right. I hate coming behind them like they are kids.
You know.. this might should be in P&I..but I was really tired of my Dh not helping and cleaning up after himself. I had a long talk with him about how I was wore out which I can't spend any alone time with him.
I told him what turned me on the most was when he did the dishes baby, and the laundry.
Guess what.. he has done them all week and my home life has been so more relaxing..lol
C&K*s Mommie replied: WTG Mel!
Kelly~ (( )) that is for your DH and mine when they halfway do the most simplest of tasks
kimberley replied: i am left those "presents" often too! my fav is when something spills.. say under the stove... he throws a few paper towels down to sop up what you can see and forget the rest. i *just* cleaned some foreign brown marks (pepsi i think ) off my oven drawer and under the oven.
btw, who said you could change your user name?? LOL. i was so confused when i saw your siggy in some newbies thread
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: My family called it half-a#@ too, Mel. Sometimes I just wonder about his mental capabilities. I mean, he made it through law school, but sometimes he is plain stupid. Milk sours. Duh!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Sorry to cause confusion, Kimberly. So many people have been doing it lately. I just kind of got tired of idaho_boo, it wasn't me anymore.
kimberley replied: it's cute.. i like it! he does have beautiful brown eyes
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Aww, thanks for the warm fuzzy, Kimberly.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Oh boy, that is also something my hubby would do. I'm so glad it's not just mine. Usually mine just tosses it downstairs by the laundry and leaves it down there to rot, then when you open the door the odor comes through the door...yuck!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Me too!
A&A'smommy replied: HA sounds like MY husband lovely!!! BTW i love your new username kelly its SO cute!!
boyohboyohboy replied: i am feeling guilty for saying so,, but my husband is the same way, and we call this talk..."why do we do things half $%@& talk"
Our Lil' Family replied: Ewww...even tossing it in the washer would have been better!!
CantWait replied: Oh gosh, dh and ds do this all the time with milky dishclothes. Pee You.
