We learned in birthing class that was very common. Why did she say this you ask - because we were practicing pushing and I pushed out a fart.

It is VERY NORMAL to poop during labor, your PUSHING everything down and out ... and if you ... well you get the picture ... hahaha

~Roo'sMama~ replied: You're lucky. I was constipated from the beginning to the end of my pregnancies with both Andrew and Alison. Halfway through with Allie it got so bad my dr. prescribed colace for me and I had to keep taking it until a couple weeks after I had her! I even stopped taking my prenatal because I was so uncomfortable and I was afraid the iron was making it worse. But I have problems even when I'm not pg so maybe that's why it was so bad.
