Our new washing machine...

His aunt and cousin bought it for us. (they own the Sears store) It is a Maytag Neptune front loading machine. (just what I wanted) We will get the matching dryer at the end of the month. It is in scratch and dent on clearance. We are waiting for it to be marked down some more. So, by the time it is all over with we will have a matching set for under $300!! I can't wait!! They are SO NICE!! I never would have expected anything so nice.

I bet you'll love them! That is the one that I wanted, the neptune. But then the sales person talked us into the Fisher and Paykel b/c there are no bearings or belts and so forth to break?!?! So of course, the MAN of the home decided we needed that one!!

Yep! This one is supposed to be similar (although I'm not sure about the bearings, etc...the motor went out on the last one). It is real easy on your clothes...no agitator (sp) in the middle to ruin your clothes. Even their new toploading machines toss and tumble the clothes and don't have the agitator in it anymore. The only thing that concerns me about this one is the electronic panel. Those things are expensive to replace. We will get the service agreement (we always do) and that will cover it if it ever goes out, but it is only good for 5 years. Oh, and it is a stainless steel tub, that's my favorite thing about it. The one we had before was NOT and it ruined all of our towels. We have hard water and we now have rust spots on everything from the porcelain tub!!

I'm so excited! His aunt and cousin are so generous. They have been really good to us lately. Of course SCotty is good to them, too.
