The mom is a jackrussel and we are not really sure what the dad is. Tom (dh) says he looks like some kind of collie. 
Mommy2BAK replied: aww I love puppies!!! I think having a puppy right before the baby will actually be really good for Dylan that way he has sort of an escape, like someone to play with once things get hectic. That puppy is too cute!!

The mom dog was just a "neighborhood dog" that our next door neighbors have been taking care of (we think she may have been dropped off because nobody has claimed her) so I asked them and they said that the dad dog is an australian shepherd. And I'm not sure how big they get. Hopefully she'll be like her mom and stay smaller.
As for Dylan...I have no idea when he got so big.  But I wish he would stop.

She looks alot like my puppy. Similar markings. Sophie is so cute.
