PODS - Anyone ever use them?

Yep, I think that's how it works. It's basically a huge box that they attach to a truck. They can sit at a storage unit or on your own property for however long you need. Temporary housing will be fully furnished, so this may be a good option for us to store our stuff until we're ready to buy a home.

Off to get quotes.

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: we looked in to them but they were really expensive. I know the prices of all that stuff changes a lot depending on where they have trucks (or pods) and where they need them. We got one of our trucks from CO to CA for like 1/4 of what we paid the other direction because they needed the trucks here.

holley79 replied: They bring you the POD for as long as you want. They drop it where you tell them. After you pack it they come pick it up. They can either store it for you and deliver it to you later on or just deliver it where you need it. They are awesome!
