Pajamas

Maddie&EthansMom wrote: I have a tradition to get pj's every year for the kids to open on Christmas Eve. This year I wanted them to match. happy.gif I found some that match in both of their sizes and I don't think they are gender specific...what do you think???

Or, I could go with these....

I also wanted Scotty and I to have something similar, but in a solid color. Like red flannel pajamas, but I can't find any anywhere!! dry.gif JCPenney's has some in navy blue and forest green. Old Navy has some pajama pants in different colors. dunno.gif Let me know if you run across something. wink.gif

PhiMuMommy replied: i like the second ones better.. the first one seems too boyish.. i'm not sure why.. but to me it does.

MommyToAshley replied: Children's Place has some pajamas like the plaid flannel ones you posted. They have the same pattern in a gown. You could get the pajamas for Ethan and gown for Maddie in the same pattern. I would think it would be easy to match that pattern in adults this time of year, but I haven't really been looking though. I almost got the gown for Ashley but ended up getting her a red fleece one because it was so soft and looked so comfy.

coasterqueen replied: I like the ones I've seen at Children's place too. thumb.gif I like both your picks as well. I got some red ones with snowmen on them for the girls but I bought them months ago, not sure they would even fit now. unsure.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: I thkn they are unisex too. I would wear them, if they were my size wink.gif
Kohls had soem cute ones that were matching adn had them in adult sizes I'd check there:)

mom2tripp replied: what a cute idea Aimee--I like both of them but I would probably go with the second choices--let us know

jacobsmama replied: I like the second ones as well...but they are both cute!!! tongue.gif

moped replied: Oh I love the striped ones!!!!!!!!

CantWait replied: I like the plaid wub.gif

Jamison'smama replied: Aimee, we do the same thing!!! Started when Jama was born--we also do a book---since I figured eventually pajamas won't be too thrilling smile.gif

I like the first ones a lot---and with Maddie's long hair--she will look all girl. With all the crawling around opening presents, I think pajamas will photograph better than a gown--and really, isn't it all about the photographs? smile.gif

Boys r us replied: I'm in total agreement with Brenda!!! thumb.gif

mammag replied:
Ooh, that sounds really cute!

I liked both that you showed but I think I like the first ones better. I think it would look fine for both boy and girl. Very cute idea!!!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
Absolutely! thumb.gif

When I checked our Children's Place they didn't have anything. I will keep my eyes peeled and if I find something I like better I will buy them. happy.gif

booey2 replied: I liked the first ones, they will look so cute, my mom does this too. When we were little one year she made all of the grandkids (my cousins- about 20 at the time) little bonnets like on Little House on The Prairie, she even made the dresses with the smocks for us so we looked just like Mary, Laura and their little sister and mom. thumb.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Yeah, I should just make theirs, too. I'm just way too lazy this time of year with everything else that is going on. tongue.gif

jcc64 replied: I think both choices are very cute, Aimee.
I'm still trying to process dh in a similiar matching outfit, though. My dh would sooner walk naked down the street than be caught wearing matching outfits with the kids!! rolling_smile.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
rolling_smile.gif You're right, he wasn't too keen on the idea. laugh.gif So, I'll just get us some comfy pajama pants from Old Navy or something. Ones that DON'T match. laugh.gif

I went to Children's Place and thought the pj's they had were much cuter. I bought a one piece zip up for Tater in the plaid and the 2 piece pj's for Maddie. They didn't have the gown in her size. sad.gif But, the pj's have a white collar with some embroidery on it and a white ruffle looking thing around the buttons. It's cute. happy.gif

jdkjd replied: Here are some collections for the whole family from The Company Store:

My3LilMonkeys replied: I love both but the stripes are adorable! I would put my girls in either though, I think they are very unisex.

USMCwife replied: I like the striped ones, especially the red! : )
