Phobia

Me..I have a very unnatural fear of snakes, I can't even look at them in a book or on TV. I've come to the conclusion that I was bitten by one in my past life

and also this is the weirdest thing..but I cannot touch Cotton balls or like the cotton that comes in the top of a asprin bottle. I can't do it, it freaks me out and I get cold chills just thinking about how it feels on my fingers. At first I thought I was nuts, but then I did a search and apparently there is actually a clinical name for it and it's a fairly common phobia.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh heights.. I mean so bad that if I go to a ball game, I will get down on my hands and knees and climb up the steps,and scoot down on my butt. It's not really the fear that I am high in the air. It is the fear of whatever I am on will BREAK and we will all fall.

It is not as bad if I can;t see the bottom, if the whole is covered. Escaltors aren't good either..don't like those.

Mine is so bad I have thrown up on people before at a Razorback game!

Josie83 replied: Birds . . . freaky little beasts. Seriously, they scare the daylights out of me. I have been known to scream and grab a stranger when one swoops past me. Especially pigeons and seagulls, glorified rats with wings if you ask me. They just scare the light out of me! xx

ammommy replied: I am terrified of bridges. If I have to walk across one or am stuck in the middle of one in traffic, my heart rate soars and I get sweaty and shakey. I'm shaking just thinking about it now.

Emeraldsmom replied: Okay this is really weird, but I have a phobia of sitting in the back seat of a 2 door car?? I guess I just feel closterphobic. (not sure how to spell that). I feel that if for some reason I needed to get out of the car in a hurry, I wouldn't have my own door and would be trapped. Weird

JessC replied: Spiders. CANT STAND EM' I had one in my car the other day, and when I went to look where it was, it wasnt there and it was going right in front of my head making a web. It scared me so bad I SLAMMED on my breaks in the Great Clips parking lot.
