Picky Picky!!

amynicole21 wrote: Sophia has begun to ask for water when she wakes at night, so we keep a cup by the bed at all times. I must have forgotten to put it out the other night, so when she woke up I had to get up and pour her a cup of water from the pitcher in the fridge which was very cold. She gulped it down and fell back asleep.

Last night, when she woke up and I offered her the cup by the bed, she said "NO! Cold Water!" blink.gif I told her no, this is what we had and it's all she could drink until morning. She threw a FIT, screaming and crying for cold water. All of this at 3am mind you snooze.gif She didn't get her cold water... but I think DH was ready to give in after about 2 minutes of screaming wacko.gif I sure hope we don't have another episode tonight!

MommyToAshley replied: LOL! What a smartie pants!

Oh, the joys of toddlerhood! teeheeeheee

A&A'smommy replied: LOLOL thats halarious! What a funny girl! rolling_smile.gif

MomToMany replied: rolling_smile.gif LOL, picky little hirl!! blink.gif Hopefully it won't continue!!

KatieLeigh79 replied: The girl I used to care for did that after a short time to, when she goes to sleep pack the cup she uses at night full of ice as well as the water, depending on if/when she gets up there is still a good possibility it will stay cool most of the night wink.gif Good Luck! smile.gif

amynicole21 replied:
Duh! I never even thought of that blush.gif Thanks!

KatieLeigh79 replied: Lemme know how it goes, I do that with a sippy cup of water in the crib at night with JR but have been running into trouble because he decides to play at night and throws it out of the crib then decides he wants water and wakes me up to get it back..

Kaitlin'smom replied: if it would have been my DH he would have gotten the cold water... wacko.gif

ohmy.gif oh my how picky they can be

Kirstenmumof3 replied: rolling_smile.gif That's too funny! What a smart little girl! rolling_smile.gif

kimberley replied: rolling_smile.gif lol silly girl! poor mommy. hope the ice does the trick for you wink.gif

momof2girls replied: How cute!
I dont blame her, warm water is yukky!!!
lol tongue.gif

paradisemommy replied: i always have ice water up in our room..i was gonna suggest maybe one of those insulated cups..that would help keep it cold longer too!! (i love my hospital cup with the straw..that's what i usually use!!)

kit_kats_mom replied: LOL. That's so funny. Well, at least she knows what she wants right? rolleyes.gif
K's kind of the same way. I use an insulated sippy for her and pack it with mostly ice before bed. Then it's still cold most of the night.

They sure do make us creative hua?

KatieLeigh79 replied: If you want I have an extra sippy (still sealed in its original packaging) that has an ice pack right inside the middle of the container, you just take it apart and freeze that and it seems to work wonders, let me know and I'd be more then happy to send it to you! JR doesn't like how the suction works on the other one and we were given two I just never got around to returning it! biggrin.gif

Zoe'sMommaCamie replied: rolling_smile.gif how funny! What a smart butt! lol if that was Zoe (aka Daddys little girl) she would have gotten that water in a flat second lol.

i hope the ice works for ya! thumb.gif

Boys r us replied: It's so funny how quickly they pick up on things!!!!
I hope Miss Priss bypasses the cold water tantrum tonight wink.gif

My2Beauties replied: LOL..that is so funny! I think the ice thing will work. My little one is still on formula, but oh how I can't wait...NOT! tongue.gif

Alice replied: I haven't tried this, but could you put a full sippy cup into the freezer in the afternoon and give it to her frozen? By the middle of the night it should still be real cold. (or would it kill the sippy cup?)

Mom2Boyz replied: What a silly girl rolling_smile.gif
I hope the putting ice in her cup at night worked for you thumb.gif
