I went to their circus two summers ago when they came to Lexington and honestly all I can remember doing was sitting there thinking "I must be too old for the circus"...
why? Because when that guy got up on top of that spinning circle thing, 100's of feet in the air and started running around without a harness the only thoughts running through my mind were "He's going to fall to his death here in front of all of these people" and "For the love of pete would you please just stop already."
It was literally making me sick to my stomach.
I guess I enjoyed the rest of the show somewhat but that's the one memory that still sticks out in my mind. See -- too old for the circus.
MoonMama replied:
They had safety nets....so I guess ours were so death defying. Although I do remember thinking during the part where they had 6 people riding motorcycles in the cage ball thingy (who the heck thought up that one and realized you could do it? )
