This is my FAVORITE student, London! She is the funniest, cutest little girl you'll ever meet! I swear, she's going to be the next American Idol, she's such a ham!



We're teaching the kids how to double-dutch on the jump rope! And they are doing so good at it! They actually have a competition for who can jump the most, and guess what? One of the 6th grade BOYS is actually winning! But here's a picture of one of my students doing the double-dutch! Another one of my favorite girls!

I know! Isn't she the funniest! I love that little girl! I just adore my kids at work. They really bring so much joy to my life. And I consider them "my kids". Thanks for all of your nice words about them, I think they're pretty special myself.

Looks like you love your job! I would too-looks like really sweet kids...since I'm new I guess I'm not quite sure what you do, I'm guessing some type of teacher???

Yes, I'm a teacher. My "title" is a Supervisor at an after school program for children grades K-6th. ( I work part-time). I love it! I've been doing it for almost 5 years. And I still get to stay home with my son, Cam, in the mornings. And I have all the holidays off (looking forward to a week off for Spring Break)! I love working with the different age groups, and I have good staff working for me. Today is our cooking day, and we made popcorn balls! Oh man, was it sticky! I feel so blessed to get paid for basically hanging out with the kids, playing games, helping with homework and such. But since I'm the Supervisor, or Head Teacher, I have to do the disciplining. Which is my least favorite part. But all in all, I loooove what I do!
